At the king's bidding...

I need some advice here: can anybody tell me what I have to do in order to record an LP into a wav file? I would really like to rip Irrlicht by Klaus Schulze, which I happen to have here. It's actually my dad's and I expect him to reclaim it quite soon, so I should get this done one of these days, if possible. Of course I have a connection between my amp and my pc. Please help me, it's for the good of the universe. Karma power!

You have to install a editing tool like soundforge or cool edit.
open a new file, press record, turn on the LP wait till it's done and save to .wav file...

cheers :P
